Progress in Learning
We know that parents want to take an active interest in their child's learning and we are keen to make this as easy and straightforward as possible. To help with this, Dunfermline High School uses Didbook - an online tracking and monitoring system - to communicate with parents about their child's progress in their learning.
By using Didbook we aim to move towards a more dynamic flow of communication between school and home to ensure that parents/carers, pupils and staff are all working together to progress pupils' learning.
During session 2024/25 Teacher Updates will be shared with families and pupils on a termly basis for all year groups, as set out in our shared annual calendar. The information within these is also used in school to inform our supports and interventions programme.
Outwith these set reporting times, we will additionally use Didbook to communicate individually with parents about other aspects of pupils' learning, as and when it is required, to help ensure that we are supporting pupils at the right time. To aid with this, please ensure your Groupcall registered email address accepts emails from service@didbook.com.
Pupils also have full access to information posted on Didbook.
If you have any concerns about your child's progress at any point, or have any issues with accessing Didbook, then please do not hesitate to contact the school to discuss further.
