PSYV Applications
Police Scotland Youth Volunteers are currently recruiting pupils in S2 and S3 in Dunfermline! This is an excellent opportunity for pupils to become role models in their communities and gain additional qualifications along the way. You do not need to be aiming for a career within the Police Force, this is a great way to gain volunteering experience, meet new people and develop new skills.
The role of PSYV:
· Inspiring young people to participate positively in their communities.
· The promotion of a practical understanding of policing amongst all young people.
· Encouraging a spirit of adventure and good citizenship amongst young people.
· Supporting local policing priorities through volunteering and giving young people a chance to be heard.
If you wish to apply please complete the interactive application below and return to the email address.
In addition, they are also in the process of creating a new film/media project for our group, where volunteers will learn new skills and techniques from specialists in the Creative Industries. The content of these videos will be linked to criminal issues and trends affecting young people and aim to share advice/awareness on a peer to peer basis.
